SKIING

Skiing is offered by several Bukovynian tourist centers, in particular:

Nimchych complex located in Pidzakharychy village of Putyla district. The complex has two platter pulls, 400m and 800m. Ski, children equipment, snowboards are offered for rent. Ski instructor assistance may be provided. The territory includes a hotel and a restaurant with hutsul, georgean and European cuisine.

Hotel and tourist complex Migovo may allocate up to 3000 visitors. The complex includes a restaurant, pizzeria, fast food facilities, several cafes, four rental stores (for 600 ski pares and snow tubes). Also the resort has an information and advisory center where tourists may book rooms, buy tickets or request information.

Another skiing facility is Gorbovo recreation park located 20km from Chernivtsi. The site has been developed as a ski resort since 2005. The complex is equipped with artificial snow making machines. The park offers skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and ice skating facilities.

Cecino sports and recreation complex has a ski run and separate routes for sledding and snow tubing. The complex territory has five cottages, a banquet hall for 200 guests, Corchma inn offering Ukrainian cuisine. It also offers horse riding, quad biking, skiing, sledding, badminton.

If you decide to ski you’ll need the following equipment:
