DENDROLOGICAL PARK IN BRUSNYTSYA



Brusnytsya village is famous not only for its mineral waters but also for the "Park Brusnytskiy”, a monument of topiary art founded in the 19th century next to the local hospital.

 

The park has trees of various species and structure growing separately, in small groups and in alleys. The park terrain is mostly plain, there is a small pond on the territory.

 

The park has such exotic trees as the Weymouth pine (Pinus strobus), common spruce (Picea excelsa), American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis), small-leaved linden (Tilia cordata), horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), etc. The park has sanitation, recreational, aesthetic value and also serves as a balneological factor of the Brusnytsya hydropathical clinic.
