Bukovyna's natural resources, its historical and cultural heritage, as well as advantageous geographic location in the center of Europe were a strong ground for building a system of sanitarium and resort treatment, tourism and leisure focused on both internal consumers and international tourists.

Bukovyna region offers plenty of recreation opportunities. Healing properties of its mineral waters are known far beyond its borders. The air is fresh, the forests are green, the water is clean - what else is needed to have a good time and enjoy the life?

Below we give a list of places where you can recreate or just spend a good time. For easier navigation we separated them in three categories. The first one describes places good for skiing during the winter, the second category tells about places where you can make use of the treating opportunities of Bukovynian mineral waters, peloids/peat muds and other healing resources, and the third section provides information about centers where you can simply spend a good time enjoying the nature. Of course, Bukovyna's recreation resources aren't limited only to these sites, we only tried to include the most typical of them to provide you the general picture of the industry.
