The Hirske Oko ("Mountain Eye”) lake

The Hirske Oko (the "Mountain Eye”) lake is a blue pearl of the Carpatians located next to Nyzhniy Yalivets village.

The lake is surrounded by evergreen fir trees. The Hirske Oko is more than 10m deep and its area is more than one hectare. Its water temperature never rises above 10-12°C even in the summer. This clean environment is a wonderful place for recreation tourism.
